The MOH (Ministry of Health and Prevention, also called MOHAP) exam is a Prometric-administered licensing exam for healthcare professionals seeking to practice in the UAE's Northern Emirates — Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain (Sharjah is transitioning to SHA).
No — MOH does not cover Dubai (which requires a separate DHA license) or Abu Dhabi (which requires a DOH license). MOH specifically covers the Northern Emirates.
MOHAP allows a maximum of three attempts. Cancelled or no-show appointments count toward this limit, so only book an exam slot when you're genuinely prepared.
Register on the MOHAP portal, complete DataFlow Primary Source Verification, submit your exam evaluation application, receive your eligibility letter, then book your exam through Prometric.
DHA licenses practitioners for Dubai while MOH covers other UAE emirates. Exam content overlaps significantly but MOH has its own blueprint and application process through the unified MOHAP portal.
